“Kelprojektas” group of companies acquired “Kelvista”

Kelprojektas, the biggest transport infrastructure engineering company in the country, strengthens the group of its companies and on this 28th day of May acquires 100 percent of shares of Kelvista, UAB. It is planned that after this transaction the turnover of Kelprojektas Group in 2014 will increase by 11 percent and total over 45 million litas.

“Kelvista is the second company that we acquire over the last year. Incorporation of this company will help to strengthen the group of Kelprojektas companies and expand a circle of highly skilled specialists and experts. By uniting the competences of specialists we will be able to ensure premium quality engineering services for our customers”, – said Algimantas Medžiaušis, CEO of Kelprojektas, UAB.

According to A. Medžiaušis, Kelvista is the biggest and famous engineering supervision company, operating in Lithuania, therefore, after its acquisition Kelprojektas will strengthen its positions in the field of technical service.

Main activities of Kelvista are construction project management, including streets, roads, railroads, transport engineering structures and buildings built, reconstructed, and repaired; engineering of streets, roads, railroads, transport engineering structures and buildings; engineering supervision; consultation; supervision of works and project administration in accordance with FIDIC and the European Union requirements.

“Over 15 years we managed to build up extensive experience and create a strong team of specialists. I believe that after this merger we will not only be able to exchange mutually beneficial experience, but will also strengthen the positions of the group of Kelprojektas companies on the market”, – said Valdas Kezys, Director of Kelvista, UAB.

Kelvista, UAB is located in Vilnius and currently employs 44 highly skilled engineers, experts-consultants, and other specialists. The company’s employees are involved in the implementation of the projects of construction and reconstruction of Lithuanian streets, roads, and railroads as well as construction, reconstruction, and repair of transport structures.
